Dual Boot Option

Upgraded from XP Home to XP Pro.
Did not completely eliminate XP Home.
On startup get an option screen showing both Home
and Pro, asking for choice.
Selecting XP Pro results in proper bootup. Selecting XP Home
goes nowhere.

In boot.ini I find the following:

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating system]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP
Professional" /fastdetect/NoExecute=optin
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP /fast
detect

When I highlight the XP Pro string the "Set as Default" button goes dim.
Will removing the XP Home string eliminate the option screen on bootup?

If not, what can I do to eliminate the option screen?

TIA, Hal Wexler

Start, Run, MSCONFIG.EXE, BOOT.INI tab, Check all paths

In both cases boot lines are ok.

Ah, I see, they both point to the same location, just delete the last
line in the Boot.ini file
