Recently, I faced a problem about DTC (Design Time Control) in FrontPage 2003.

The detail is:
We have a product which contains DTC. Of course, the product has so long
history because DTC concept comes from Visual Interdev.
The DTC is ok for FrontPage 20002. But for FrontPage 2003, some features can
not be run correctly, such as it can not be resized. We tested the sample DTC
in Visual InterDev6, such as Button, it can not be resized also.
I tried to search the reason in internet and just get the following
information:

It mentioned:
“When you open your Web page in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, some
Design-Time Controls (DTC) that worked in Microsoft FrontPage 2002 may not
function in FrontPage 2003.”

My question is: the issue for DTC can not be resized in FrontPage 2003 is
Microsoft’s design (that means, MS will NOT support it) or Microsoft’s bug.
(Actually, there are other problems which are similar with resizing). I
really want to know the reason to determine whether the product can be marked
“support FrontPage 2003” or this product is so old that it must be updated to
dotNet component.
