I am trying to update my computer for DST and after the download I get an
error message saying that it was unable to update because I have a newer
version or automatic update already installed. Yet my computer has the wrong
time displayed. What should I do?

Thank you

Check to see if the Adjust for Daylight Savings box under Time Zone is still
checked. I found mine unchecked so one of the updates must have changed it.

Try to set the Time correctly to your time zone by clicking on the Clock.
If the issue doesn't resolve this way and the time still wrong on your
dashboard <G> then you can try the BIOS, if still no joy, how old is the
Computer?.
You may need a COMS Battery, the one like a battery watch but big. Buy it
and install it on your motherboard.
If the above not your cup of tea and you don't know what battery is the
correct one then take to your Local Teach pros and they will help you out.
HTH.

Hello Pat,

Check this manual method, but better to download the utility
tzedit.exe about 3/4 way down the page:
