Driver Removal

      20th Aug 2005
At one time I had Acronis True Image Ver 8 installed. Uninstalled and R-T T
Virtual driver was left. How do I uninstall this driver? Thanks in
advance.

Have you uninstalled the Acronis devices in Device Manager? (Start...Control
Panel...System...Hardware tab...Device Manager Button...then expand the +
next to the Acronis entry, right click on it and select Uninstall)

Or, are you referring to a virtual drive that remains on your system (such
as in Windows Explorer)? You should be able to right click on that and
select Unmount or Dismount.

Do you mean "Virtual Drive" (a hidden system partition reserved for image
files accessed mainly by Acronis Startup Recovery Manager) - aka, Acronis
Secure Zone?
You might try using Acronis Startup Disk to delete the Secure Zone. Of
course, you can always format the drive or use some partition manager.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure which one. I think it is the virtual
drive that remains in Windows Explorer. I will try to dismount.
