I can't access my Imation Parallel Port superdisk LS 120 drive with XP pro.
Does anyone have a driver that would allow me to?

really? Have you tried google, because I got so many hits, I'm not
sure where to start.

Yes I tried Google first, and I didn't find a driver except that various
sites said they had one if I downloaded and used their driver updating
software and I don't trust that software. And I'm not sure they really have
the driver.

I found a driver here. It is for Win2K, but is labeled on the download
page as "Windows2000/XP".

http://www.imation.com.hk/support/ls120.php

The download includes a .doc file, to help with the installation. I
had to download a Word Viewer from Microsoft, to read it on my computer.

Chances are, you have to go into the BIOS, and put the parallel port
in a mode suitable for use with the LS-120. Perhaps the product instructions
hint at what mode that might be.

The drive mechanism was made by one company, and distributed by more
than one other company. So you may get lucky, and find a better
driver somewhere else.

I've tried about 25 sites that seemed promising but no go.

Thanks much. I installed the driver and it acted like it was going to work,
but didn't. I'll call IMation on Monday.
