Hi,

Bought a new laptop and connected camera via USB cable to laptop to download
from SD card and get "new hardware found" asks me to install drivers
basically. I seem to have misplaced the discs that came with camera (inc
Arcsoft software).

I went to Panasonic website and downloaded drivers from
http://www.panasonic.com.au/support/...oductID%3D1054

I unzip and double click setup.exe file and it installs but end result is
same. Still can't download photos from SD card. Rang Panansonic and they
want $60 for a new driver disc.

Has anyone got the same camera and can lend me the discs for a day or any
ideas what I can do?

Damian

Get a card reader.... quick, cheap and doesn't require drivers.

Doh! My new Laptop has a card reader!

It worked fine!

I hope the firewire works fine for downloading the movies from tape without
drivers

Thanks Cari
