Hey,

I just re-installed windows etc. and then realised I don't have the drivers for my webcam - ooops! haha.

Is there a website that hosts lots of drivers etc? Or does anyone have any drivers?

It's a Logitech Webcam and model number is V-UAM27.

Any help would be great.

You're right Mucks, I am lazy, but I did actually spend quite a while looking for the software and couldn't find it. I found the page with all the pictures of the webcams, but not with the model numbers underneath.

Thanks for your help though. I appreciate it. :-)

Well, I've spent about 2 hours trying to get this webcam working but no luck! So annoying because it's worked for years, but when I install the software from the link above it doesn't detect the camera.

Any suggestions from anyone?

Got it working! :-)

If anyone has issues with a logitech webcam in the future then give me a shout, I have thoroughly researched them now! hahaha.

How did you get it working out of interest Did you need to manually extract the drivers from the archive?

Well, the model number was finding a webcam and a set of drivers, but it was an new set and it just wasn't working. So I tried searching google by the serial number which I found on a sticker on the cable and I found an older set of drivers that worked first time.

Easy in the end, but you know what it's like, so frustrating when you can't get something working! :-)
