I have updated my display drivers so I could get 1440 x 900 resolution for
my HP widescreen monitor.
Now I have the display driver that I want, and every thing works good,
but on every boot up I get the error.......Your display driver has changed,
the auto location feature needs to reinstall the rotation driver. If this
message reappears, please update your display drivers. I could not find
anything in msconfig that would stop this, and
I have updated to the latest drivers. Is there any way to keep this error
from coming up on every boot? Any more help would be much appreciated.

HP Pavilion computer, Windows XP Home

Tom

Download the latest version of your video driver from the software's
website. Also print out the website's instructions for installing the
driver.

Completely uninstall your video driver by carefully following the
instructions you printed.

Uninstall your video card from Device Manager and restart your computer.

When Windows offers to install a driver, cancel the installation.

Install the new video driver by carefully following the instructions you
printed.

1- It's not an email, it's a news post.
2- You can find detailed instructions on the video card's technical
support website.
