driver error message

we recently upgraded our ME system to XP home edition.
we are now getting a message when we try to operate the
scanner and the dv camera as follows: "the reguired
section was not found in the INF." can anyone tell me if
something was not updated when we changed to XP, and if
so, how I might go about doing it?
