I have been trying to install a new webcam,Arianet WB001 USB Webcam.
Installation completes but in my device manager there is a yellow
exclamation
next to the webcam. The status then shows the following message: Windows

cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be
corrupted
or missing. (Code 39).I have tried unistalling and also the
troubleshooter to
no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

http://www.aria.co.uk/Support/Technical+Support

"Drivers and links to manufacturer websites are all indicated on the
Aria website."

And yet they do NOT have a link to a driver section on their web site.
There was no driver link on their product web page, either
(http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Elect...roductId=25100).
You could try calling them at their telephone number (if that works)
but note their charge and having to call a long-distance number (to
pay for that, in addition).

Well, you didn't lose much on this cheapie.

60p per minute is cheap for an 0906 number <G>. A scam was to send out
faxes inviting calls to 0906 numbers. I investigated a single call
costing £25 made at a time when the office was supposed to be closed.
Not a lot you can do, although you can file a complaint to ICSIS, a
regulatory body. At least in this case there is a warning of the cost of
the call,

Hope this helps.

Um, that is THEIR charge for when you connect to THEM. That rate
would apply if it were a local call. Depends on where you are but I
doubt that long-distance charges would be covered by THEIR per-minute
support rate. By the Trew's IP number of 212.227.93.156, he is using
an ISP in Germany. The registrant for aria.co.uk is in Great Britain.
Of course, maybe Aria has a German distributor so Trew wouldn't have
to pay international rates in addition to the per-minute toll rate but
then the 0906 number seems to be managed by a UK company (Primex).

Their http://www.aria.co.uk/Support/About+Us page also lists a GB
locale along with a 0870 phone number for sales and customer care, so
maybe Trew could get around their 0906 "premium rate" toll number
managed by Primex (http://www.primex.co.uk/index.php?display=0906) -
but then Trew might be in Germany. I wonder how long it takes to get
through their automated phone system and then wait on hold while
getting charged per minute for it.

By the way, Gerry:
You do know, right, that nospam.com is a registered domain? Do you
actually have an account with them? If not, why are you energizing
the spambots to target that domain? Use the .invalid TLD (instead of
..com) if you don't want any e-mails delivered there.
