Rollback or remove the sound card and then re-install it
fresh.

Are you unable to figure out what time zone you are in?

If you give us your location I'm sure someone can help you set your time and
time zone to the correct settings.

According to his header info, he's posting from GMT plus 2 hours.
That puts him anywhere from Belarus to Zimbabwe. Of course that's
assuming everything else is correct?

Be nice?! Why on earth should we 'be nice' to some f**kwit who can't be
bothered to set his clock properly - and does so constantly - he's posted
several times and has been told...

I did the mistake and used MS update to update my system... one of the
updates was a driver for my sound card YAMAHA 192 XG.
Now the correct driver is from the YAMAHA site and I have used it many times
but becuase I updated it by mistake now the driver keeps changing into the
Microsoft one. The sound in MIDI is FM synthesis ONLY.
I have been unsing thes card for years and it worked correctly with xp...

How can I override the automatic change XP does with the sound driver? I
have tried DRIVER UPDATE and I choose the correct driver and everything
works fine,
but when I restart the drivers change again creating chaos!

HELP!
