I just installed vista home edition on a new sata 320 hard drive
I found out that it only reconized 130 gigs, how can I utilize the 320 gigs

Are we supposed to guess where it shows 130 gigs? Go to Administrative
tools/Computer management/Disk management and see what it shows for the disk
and partition you have Vista on. Does the BIOS show 320 during POST?

Hi,

Check your BIOS drive detection settings to ensure that 48-bit LBA is
enabled. For some Intel chipsets, you may need to download and install the
Intel Application Accelerator utility in order to make full use of the
drive.
