I have a 60GB Western Digital drive reading as a RAW drive
after formatting it via a DOS Prompt in Windows 2000
(SP4).
When I tried to acces it through Win2000 I got a prompt
telling me I could not access the drive. Back to DOS
prompt to try and access it that way I was told I needed
to use the /FS switch to specify the file system type.
Tried a Format c: /FS:FAT and it ran all the way through
with a final prompt telling me my drive was too big. I am
lost on what to do. I want this (Aug 2002) drive for
another computer but cannot use it until I get the FAT
file system back.
Can anyone help me?
