drive mapping - reconnect at logon doesn't work properly?

Hi all!

I map network drive with "reconnect at logon" checked.
In Win2000 username/password is promted during the boot, but XP/2003 an
alert "Coudn't reconnect all network drives" occures and I have to go to
Explorer to enter the login/password. Is this a bug or a feature?
