Hi,

I've just installed WinXP...
Before I installed XP, I made my old drive (which had
Win2000 on it) a slave on the primary cable, then I made
my new drive a master on that very cable. I then set up
a number of partitions on this new drive because I wanted
all of my new drives partitions to be C:\ D:\ and E:\,
and my old drive's partions to be F:\ G:\ ... etc.
However, once I got WinXP installed, I found that my old
C:\ from primary slave is D:\, then the second partition
of the first drive is E:\, and it's not at all the
configuration I want. Is this possible to get? How can
I appropriately change the drive letters to the way I
want?

You can change drive letters by right clicking My Computer, select Mange,
select Disk Management, right click the drive you want to change, select
Change Drive Letter. You may have to shuffle them around a bit before you
get what you want.
