I bought a PC that has one of the DVD drives assigned to letter. H. H
is also a drive I use at work, so when I connect via VPN, I cannot
allocate my employer's drive as H.

How can I disconnect the DVD drive from H, and assign it to something
else?

Thanks.

Start|Run, type "diskmgmt" (without the quotes, of course). Using this
utility you should be able to find your DVD and assign it whatever
letter you choose.
