drive does not read cd-r's....

I have a Sony DVD+-RW DW-D56A DVD that will not read cd-rs from my sony
digital camera. I am using Windows XP Pro, and have been able to read these
cd-r's on another computer running XP Home. Any reason why these cd-r's are
now showing up as blank, even when i can physically see the burn on the cd?
