Is there a way without changing the share name of a drive to add a
description or comment that will show up in the "Comments" field of Windows
Explorer. When I share these drives on our network I would like people to be
able to see what they are, but I cannot change the share name it's self.

Hi Terry,

If you right-click on the drive and select Properties, you should have a
Sharing tab. Click on that and there is a Comment dialog under the
Share name.

Thank you for the response. I did this, but there is not a comment box under
the sharename box. Any other ideas?
