Running windows 2000 pro on an AMD x86 266 MHz Often, but
not predictably, the system will stop reading any of these
3 drives and return "driveX: invalid function" message.
Restarting clears the problem for a while. Windows has
most recent service pack and security updates and PC has
most recent bios available. Problem predates all of these
and has not improved with any upgrades/patches. Curiously,
even though explorer and other programs can't read any of
the drives, Nero will still read and burn CD's. Any useful
insight will be much appreciated!
