Anybody deleted some files from a drive and not see the
capacity increase afterwards? While holding the shift
key and hitting delete on a 1.7GB file, I agreed to the
file deletion, but my capacity did not increase. I have
run checkdisk on the drive and didn't find anything and
still shows the same free space as before deleting the
file.

Hi, Jason.

Empty your Recycle Bin. And, if you are running Norton, also Empty Norton
Protected Files. Both of these choices are available when you right-click
the Recycle Bin icon on the Desktop.
