"Dripping" sound !

Hi Folks

Some time ago from nowhere my pc started producing what I can only describe
as a single electronic dripping sound when either a pop up is blocked, or
when I scroll forwards and backwards on web sites in IE.

I've checked all my sound settings and pop up settings, but can't find the
source of this sound, which I have to tell you is driving me bananas ! Any
ideas on how to get rid of it please ?

A "water drops sound" is not a standard IE sound.
Are you running PestPatrol?
Have a look at C:\Program Files\PestPatrol\CookieCrunch.wav
You can get a silent replacement here:
http://www.pestpatrol.com/Support/V4...asp#Components
