I need to maintain a site that was created by Dreamweaver X (latest rev). I
currently have Frontpage 2000 and it corrupts the Dreamweaver template when I
make changes to text in a changeable area (not in areas covered by the
template). I would prefer to stay with Frontpage. If I upgrade to Frontpage
2003, will I be able to make changes to a Dreamweaver created site without
corrupting the template?

Actually, the latest rev of Dreamweaver is MX2004 (7.0.1).

DMX and DMX2004 templates are NOT compatible with FP or with DW4. DW4
templates use VERY simple markup, and they are compatible with FP.

It sounds like you will have to stick with DW if you want to use the
templates.
