Hi Carey
Thanks for your help but i have already contacted them and they said that
the program was designed for win 98/Me and that winXP is too different an op
system , which I feel is a bit of a cop out as it is only a line of text to
be displayed(filename). This is why i thought it might possible for the
windows side of things to cure the problem .
