When I'm dragging the imported clip into the timeline, the movie maker
program will only allow me to edit the audio. The video plays in the windows
video player. I want to be able to have the video also work when I drag the
clip in the timeline. It also only plays the audio when I click play on the
timeline. However, if I put a title page in the timeline, I am able to view
that portion on the timeline. If someone can help me clarify this problem, I
would be deeply indebted to you. I can only show my appreciation with a thank
you, if it works.

that's typical when trying to use MPEG-2 files in Movie Maker... if that's
what you're trying to do, see the Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG-2
page of my website for some info about converting the source files before
importing.
