Dragging messages from Sent Box to a folder

At times you can click on a message and then drag it down to a folder, it
shows the little box, but when you release it--It says it can't be moved. If
I click on a different message then go back and click on the original message
I want to move it will do it then. Is there something in settings that can
help this?
