Dragged a folder into the SP2 folder now access is denied

I accidentally dragged an important folder into the SP2 folder where it now
resides as a subfolder. I want to drag it back to the desktop but XP wont let
me saying "access is denied" what do I do??

Did you try it after a reboot? How about Safe-Mode? Are you a member
of the Administrator group, do you have proper permissions to do it?
Are you using HP Home or XP Pro?

Assuming you are the administrator of the PC, try taking ownership of it
