Drag and Drop

Dear all,
I have tree control with Nodes and Subnode . I select a node and then want
to drop it on the Panel.
How could this be achieved. The action is similar to Drag and Drop.

My idea was to get the details of the subnode in AfterSelect Event and on
Mouse Up event of the Panel,handle the subode details captured earlier.

Any suggestions or Links to where Drag and Drop is implemented for compact
Framework
