No, but it's always a good to make regular backups in case Something Bad
happens.
Do you have an older version of Microsoft Office installed on your
computer? If yes, then you have to choose between your older Outlook
version and Outlook 2007 because you can only have one or the other, but
you can have both older and 2007 versions of the other Office
applications. If you want to keep the older versions of Word, Excel,
etc., alongside the 2007 versions, then choose a Custom installation of
2007, and choose to keep the older versions in the Installation Options tab.
If you have important emails in Outlook, then be sure to back up your
Outlook .pst file(s) before uninstalling, just in case Something Bad
happens. Ditto with Word's normal.dot template and any custom templates
you created, autocorrect list, and custom dictionary if you've
extensively modified those.
