I got a word document from internet explorer. when attempting to save the
document I decided to "open" the document instead of saving it. However,
while i had the document open i continuesly saved the document by pressing
"ctrl+s". No box ever appeared displaying where to save them. Does anyone
know if these documents were saved to my hard drive and if so where?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Try to open any other word document without downloading (without Saving, as
you did previously), after word document opened, click File -> Save As, now
you can check the path, where the files are getting saved.

Regards,
Soundar.

Is it in the recent files list? If so open it and save it somewhere else.
Chances are that it is saved in the temporary internet cache - see also
