I spent 8 hrs yesterday trying to download SP1 for XP SP1.
Due to my sons's dial-up service and lousy Qwest lines in
his neighborhood, was unable to maintqain consistent
connection.

I saw somewhere that there is a version to download and
save rather than download and install.

Resources for saving are adequate.

Where is the page to start the download to save?
