Ran usual ( scan ) of Hard drive after
( weekly live update of Norton virus definitions )

Norton Ant-virus Detected that The file

243813.exe in compressed file C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\SFI6O86I\Browser_Plugin[1].cab
is infected < download.trojan.>

See
http://securityresponse.symantec.com...ad.trojan.html

Have since

1) deleted infected file < Browser_Plugin[1].cab >

2) Cleared Internet explorer History file and Scanned Windows/Temporary
Internet files folder

Any clue How < 243813.exe > Got it to my Win 98SE system past Zone alarm and
Norton Anti-virus ??

NB All Critical updates for Win 98SE / virus definitions etc are religiously
kept to date !!

Did you say yes to any download warning messages? Did you notice the date
and time on the file?
