when making a new e-mail message, when the option is
displayed 'select names', why are all the names listed
two times, featuring once their e-mailaddress and the
second time it is their business fax number?
is there any way how you can switch of diplaying of the
business fax number in the 'select names' list when
making a new e-mail message?
the fax business number is useless anyway when composing
an e-mail message.
thks for your help.

Because a FAX number is, as far as Outlook is concerned, an address.

Put the letter "F" or the word "FAX" in front of the FAX number. Then
Outlook won't think it's a FAX number and won't display it.

It certainly is useful if you have Outlook integrated into Windows Faxing.
Doing what I suggest above will break the ability for Outlook to FAX a
message, but if you don't use that feature anyway, who cares?
