I am trying to share folders and a printer between my
desktop (running XP) and my work laptop (running Windows
2000). I've got the wireless network working and sharing
the Internet, but since the work computer is set up to
login to a domain at work, and my XP system has a
workgroup, I'm not sure how to make this work? Can anyone
point me towards a good resource? I tried switching the
laptop from domain to workgroup, but when I rebooted I
couldn't log back in.

I have my (XP) laptop setup as part of a client's domain and it doesn't
seem to have any problems working with my home computer in my home
workgroup. So it may just work.
I would use MyComputer,Properties, ComputerName to set your laptop up as
a member of the workgroup and get it working at home. Then go back to
work, use the same to go back and join the domain at work.
You may have to switch back an forth like that, but my experience is
that you don't. In any event it is quick to do this.
