I was considering upgrading to the newest version of office and i was
curious, is front page included with office or do i need to purchase it sep?

What about MS offive 07, does it come on that one.. Also i was reading that
front page use to come with ie 5 i believe. does any one know where i can get
that version

No FrontPage with office 2007.
It's either Expression Web Designer or SharePoint Designer both of which are still in beta
testing.

FrontPage Express used to come with IE but it's no longer available from or supported by
Microsoft.

There is a free Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/

but I understand it's somewhat limited.

No, it does not come with Office 2007.
Certain specific versions of Office 2000 and 2002 came with FP. You'll need
to Google to find out which ones.

FrontPage does not exist in Office 2007. The next version gives a choice:
Expression Web Designer or Office Sharepoint Designer

The version that came with IE5 was either FP98 or FP2000 - you may find a
copy on E-Bay, but you will not find a retail copy of either.
