Does FireFox only needs to make connections rather that accept them

I ran FireFox and got a pop up that said that Windows Firewall has blocked
FireFox from accepting connections from the internet.

I clicked "unblock" because I do want to use FireFox.

Now I'm wondering if that was the right thing to do.

I'm not sure what "accepting connection" means.

Seems like FireFox might only needs to make connections rather that accept
them.

Bottom line: Did I do right and if not how to fix it?

Thanks

You did the right thing. If you have any questions about Firefox, they have
a newsgroup.

Using any web browser is a two way operation. Firefox (through you)
requests. A web page delivers. Some web pages deliver without receiving your
request though. (-:
