In Office 2003, I had messages in the Outbox for delayed delivery (next week
and next month, it's a reminder system). I ran a detect and repair and they
have dissappeared. Is there any chance of retrieving them?

Just reopen your PST file(s) (don't use Import!).

Did anything else disappear? If the rest of your mail disappeared, then
detect and repair made a new pst, otherwise, unless scanpst moved them to a
repair folder in your pst, you'll need to recreate them. It's odd that
detect and repair would remove them though. What lead you to use detect and
repair?
