Vista Home Premium. How do I copy a file from one device to another?

Click and drag actually moves the file. I tried copy and paste and that
worked from C: to A" drive. Is that how its done or is there a copy command?

Thanks

Right-click/DRAG, then let go of the mouse. You should be presented
with choices.

Have you tried right click dragging, that brings up a menu when you release
at the destination and asks if you wish to move, copy, etc.

Thanks, works a treat. All the wonderous things you can do if you only know
how.

If you are in Documents in C, and want to send to A, right-click on what you
want to send to A, and in the menu that comes up, run your cursor over "send
to", and you have your choice from the next menu where you want to seed it
to, email, CD, A, Memory stick, etc.
Too easy!
