Hello

Does "Promise Ultra100 TX2" satisfy "Maxtor Fireball 3" transfer rate
requirement?
http://www.maxtor.com/_files/maxtor/...data_sheet.pdf
"Promise Ultra100 TX2":

Performance
· Supports data transfer rates up to 100MB/sec

· Up to 133MB/sec burst transfer rates (through PCI bus)

The answer is technically yes, theoretically no. You are never going to
actually hit anywhere near 100 Mb/s, much less 133 Mb/s, unless you are
using two drives in RAID. Basically, your 133 Mb/s max rate on the hard
drive is not being limited by the ATA100 Controller Card.
