Hi there, I am running terminal services on a W2K server
and have partioned my RAID 5 into 4 partitions. I made C:\
the system partition and dedicated the rest for home
folders etc etc. The problem that I am having is all of
the 40+ terminal services users Documents & Settings
profiles have placed themselves in the System Partition
C:\ when I wanted them to create themselves in D:\
partition. I have only allowed 6GB for the system
partition and it now only has 500MB left. What do I need
to do to move the Documents & Settings profiles for each
of the 40+ users to a different partition without
disrupting normal operations or the users & with the least
administrative effort. Any assistance would be greatly
appreaciated.

Regards,

Tim

You have two options.
One is to edit the registry and point the profiles to another drive. This is
described in details on the TechNet KB. Look for moving the locally cached
profile. It is not automated and it is a pain IMHO.
The second is to use roaming profiles and set in the registry
DeleteRoamingCache=1. This will get rid of these copies as soon as the user
logs off.
