Hi
I am using Word 2000 (Windows 98) and creating documents
that have codes for names. When I hoover my mouse over
the document, I want to see the Title and Author from the
properites page pop up as I hoover with my mouse over the
document. How can I make this happen for me? Thank you
in advance,

If you're talking about hovering the mouse over the document in Windows
Explorer or Word's File Open dialog, this should already be happening,
though sometimes there is a brief delay. (On the other hand, if you're
hoovering with your mouse, then you might disappear the document altogether.

Yup, the title and author are in the properties fields
and if I right click and open it that way...it is there.
I just want it to come up when I hoover over the document.

I have tested it out with Word 2002 and Word 200 and get
the same results.

All I can say is that if I have Title and Author properties, I see them when
I hover (not hoover) over the filename. In the Properties view (not
right-clicking and choosing Properties, by the way, but selecting the
Properties view as opposed to List, Detail, Thumbnail, etc.), you will see
these and more.
