I've seen this around on some other message boards, but unfortunatley I have
not seen any that have come to a good conclusion.
I have a couple windows 7 boxes running office 2007 and it appears that this
error pops up only on .xls versions of worksheets on a server. It does
create a randomly named temp file and when you hit save you get the error
"Document not saved".
It works fine when trying to save to the local disk instead of the server.
I have tried turning off the sync for offline files, since that didn't work
I even reformatted and reinstalled everything. Now it's popping up again and
don't know what to make of it.
Has anyone had success at identifying exactly why this is happening and how
to fix it?
