document check in to WSS 3.0

Hi,

I use the _document.CheckInWithVersion inside office.interop.word to
programmatically check in a docx file in word 2007 client. The check-in
operation succeed but it immediately close the document for me.

Is there anyway to prevent the closing of document resulted from check-in
operation?
