In my header on every page I have the numbering: Pages X of Y

In some of the footers (section specific) I have also Pages X of Y
different than the header X of Y. Unfortunately I need two different X's
(header) and (specific section in the footer). I have figure out how to do
the Y in the footer, but not the X. Is there a way to do this?

To get the X in the footer, you will probably need to insert a bookmark at
the end of the previous section and then use a field construction to
subtract the pageref field for the bookmark from the pagenumber for the
pages in the section
