How do you stop the upgrading multicolored for follow up flags

I upgraded to office service pak 2 and now have the following at the bottom
right of Outook 2007. It says "upgrading multicolored for follow up flags to
color categories" and has been going for days. I went to the Main PST folder
and properties, clicked on the upgrade to color categories and chose both Yes
and No with the same results. I found a couple fo articles searching, but no
one had an answer. I have Windows XP PRO with Office 2007 and all the latest
updates.
