Is it possible to prevent Excel 2007 from trying to connect to the web every
time you click the help button. This is a major pain with a slow connection.
I cannot find an option to turn this off. I want to use the HELP that is
installed with Excel on my machine. Any ideas?

Hi Mike

Press F1

Then in the Help window on the bottom right click on "Connected to Office Online"

Change it to "Show content only from this computer"
