how do you save a form created with the data form wizard

I am trying to create a data entry form in Excel 2007. The data form wizard
provides much but not all that I want on my form. Is it possible to start by
creating a data entry form using the wizard then save that code and edit/add
to it in VBE?

Nope. You can show the builtin form, but you can't modify it.

John Walkenbach has an enhanced data form:

And the source code is available for a small fee ($20 USA, IIRC).

And if that's not sufficient, then maybe you could design your own input
userform.
