How do you save To-Do bar view?

Does anybody know how to save the current view of the To-Do bar? I know how to do it in the tasks & other views, but I don't see an option for the To-Do bar. If I hit a column header, it totally screws up my specific sorting. Thanks for the help in advance.

stop clicking on column headers as you have the Arrange by Function
automatically sorting by any column if you click it's header.

This doesn't help with saving automatic formatting and filtering

it stops the problem you said you were experiencing: "I hit a column header,
it totally screws up my specific
sorting".
