In other words, you want to let them quit for now, then come back later,
restart and resume at the same point they left off before?
PowerPoint doesn't have the ability to do that.
If you're running in full PPT (and not the viewer) and security settings don't
prevent VBA, an addin might make it possible to do this.
Or you could have the presentation open to a menu that links to other
presentations, each of which is a unit in your training presentation. While
returning to the previous spot wouldn't be automatic, users would at least be
able to click on a link to restart the unit they were working on before.
Javascript, cookies and a web-based/html version of your presentation might be
workable also.
