I just got verizon online dsl and to use the software verizon with live
windows i cant have sp3. So how do i go back to sp2?

You shouldn't *need* to utilize the software in order to utilize DSL - in
fact I would highly recommend against it. It's mainly 'branding' your
machine so you are always aware of which ISP you are using - in all
likelyhood.

While there is a simple way (if this computer did not come with SP3
installed and it was updated from SP2) - I think you should first confirm
that you *want* to install the software and what benefits you plan to get
from it. If you see none (I have not seen any from such software) then
don't install it and connect to your DSL with your network card and use the
Internet the way you want - without Verizon ever putting anything on new on
your machine to mess up.

Just go into Control Panel

and under add/remove programs you can remove it.

However I'd call your provider first to see if they have a workaround...
as you should keep SP3 if at all possible

Verizon DSL in my area (Northeast USA) works with Win XP SP 3. You
should check with Verizon support in your area, since it doesn't seem
likely that Verizon would force DSL users to give up all the critical
security updates included in SP 3.
