This is a standard part of the way layouts work. Any placeholders that have
Click to Add... won't show during a presentation if there is no text in them.
Having said that, you can modify the individual slide by clicking on the
outside edge of the box and hitting the delete key to remove the placeholder.
You can then stretch the subtitle placeholder to the desired size.
